  2. Set a Fundraising Goal - "Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination." ~ Fitzhugh Dodson

As a fundraising incentive, we have some great prizes in store for YOU and we'll reveal all of those at the "Kick Off" party.
  3. Raise Money - Ask your family, neighbors, friends, and coworkers to sponsor you by making a contribution. Again, we've lined up great prizes, which we’ll reveal at the “Kick Off”, as incentives for you to reach new heights with your fundraising. Sponsors can contribute to your fundraising goal by:
    1. Cash
    2. Checks - Payable to: Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio
    3. Credit Card
      1.  Website
      2. Facebook Cause Page
  4. Dance! - There will be all kinds of dancing along with food and prizes to keep you going...and going. We've broken the 24 Hours down into two hour blocks of time and assigned a designated "style" of dance to each of them. From our "Latin After Hours" and "High Noon Hoedown" to the "Big Band Blast" and "Evolution of Dance" there's bound to be something for EVERYONE!

How:  You may be thinking, “How on earth am I going to raise $1,200?”  We know from experience fundraising can feel like a difficult task.  In reality though, there are several ways you can work toward your fundraising goal that will make fundraising feel easy and fun!  Below some helpful tips and suggestions to get you on your way to successful fundraising!

1.  Perhaps the easiest way to raise money is to ask your family, friends and co-workers to support you in your fundraising efforts by donating money. (Use our attached tracking sheet to keep track of all donors and we will send them a receipt for their donation).  You can accept donations the following ways:

  • Cash
  • Check (payable to Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio)
  • Credit Card (through our Cause page or the DCNEO web page)

2.  Create your own online fundraising goal on the DCNEO cause page (www.causes.com/dcneo); distribute the link to your social network, friends, and family, and watch the money roll in! (No subscription to any social networking site required)

3.  Come up with creative ways to fundraise.  (Hold a car wash, schedule a Dine-to-Donate with your favorite restaurant, sell Malley’s candy bars, etc.)

4.  Look for companies with matching gift programs (Many companies have programs that will match whatever funds you are able to raise)

To keep you going all 24 hours, we have a great variety of dance themes scheduled in two-hour time blocks!
